Very cool hand painted plate. You see a lot of State Plates and National Park Plates and so forth but when is the last time you saw one that was completely hand painted? Definitely of some vintage, so far as I know there is not anything shown in the artwork that was not there in the 1930's or before. Excellent condition no wear or damage. I somewhat wonder if the porcelain plate itself was made in Japan but perhaps the artwork was done in Mexico. The style of the artwork is Southwestern and the writing appears done by someone familiar with Arabic characters if not English. If this were so, considering the multi-cultural heritage of the city, I think it makes for an even better souvenir. Estimated at one pound packaged for shipping purposes..
