This is a pleasant surprise from Japan,land of the rising Sun ! The lady seamtress is now 80 years old and retiring,she is giving up her sewing machine and her remaining stock- doll kimonos in different fabric! Each kimono measures 9 1/2 inches across (shoulder is 4 1/4 inches) and length is 8 1/2 inches,one size fits all. There are 3 pocket linings when you unfold the kimono,I dont know what purpose does it serve,may be keep some small items like comb and hairpin?? She has left the strings hanging from each side of the robe,you can remove them gently. Mint in box condition,comes in clear paper bag. Wonderful find !
