The balm of gilead (cottonwood bud resin), creosote, calendula, and beeswax are all locally and ethically sourced. I harvest balm of gilead from fallen branches and twigs only, not taking any from the living tree. All of the herbs are extracted using a six-month cold infusion for extra potency.
