Kliniderm Foam Silicone Lite Wound Dressings Kliniderm Lite silicone foam dressing is a soft, adaptable, absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a silicone contact layer. This layer protects the surrounding skin and reduces pain when changing the dressing. Exudate is retained inside the dressing and the outer layer allows for free gas exchange. The dressing is dedicated to acute and chronic wounds such as: pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, synovial fluid, postoperative wounds, abrasions, partial thickness skin burns, oncological wounds, transplant recipient sites. Recommended for pressure ulcer prophylaxis The dressing should be selected so that it is at least two centimeters larger than the wound. It can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing in combination with, for example, Inadine, Silvercel. It can be used under compression therapy.
