Descripción del Artículo

Pre-viewed for quality and plays fine despite the disc having some light scuffs. Crime thriller with a stellar performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt as former golden boy jock Chris. After a car accident that left him with severe brain trauma, Chris struggles with emotional outbursts, memory gaps, and everyday tasks. He lives with sardonic blind roomate Lewis (Jeff Daniels, offering superb support) in a small Kansas town and works as a janitor at the bank, giving Chris the perfect in when conman/criminal Gary (Matthew Goode) shows up to entice him into a heist to restore some self-esteem. Gary dangles luscious Luviee (Isla Fisher) as a prize but Chris isn't as dumb as everyone supposes. Screenwriter Scott Frank uses his knowledge of neo-noir territory in his directorial debut.
