Made by "Dawn Joy", this is a trendy swing style, rockabilly dress with a white dot pattern on mint green background. Reminiscent of the 1950s style dresses worn by Lucille Ball, Barbara Billingsley, June Lockhart etc. in the 1950s TV sitcoms. The dress has a matching fabric belt with buckle that can be adjusted to your waist size. The bottom flares out wide in a swing style and would look great plain or with a crinoline slip underneath, similar to the slips worn with poodle skirts. Features 2 hidden side pockets, 2 patch pockets at the top front, shoulder pads (sewn in but can be removed) and 11 buttons down the front. It is a ladies size 11/12 (imprinted onto the inside of the belt) which could easily fit a size 7/8 through 13/14, depending upon how snug you like to wear your clothes. Cotton blend, easy care fabric, dry-clean recommended to retain shape. The dress was purchased for an occasion that never happened at a high-end dept. store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago for $120.00 so the price tag was cut off. However, it was never worn, just tried on for size. Stored hung up in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.
