In creating this necklace I selected large chunky labradorite nuggets and sterling silver findings including 4 mm round beads, wire guards and a toggle clasp. The necklace is 20 1/2" in length and is strung on heavy duty wire. I added wire guards to futher protect the wire. The nuggets are large and mostly 1/2" to 3/4" by 3/8" to 5/8". Labradorite is usually dark grey in color with flashes of labradorite colors that change according to the angle of light refraction, The flashes are usually blue, green, yellow, and pink, Toggle clasps are easy to fasten and provide a secure closure. As the labradorite nuggets are large, the neclace is rather heavy.
