Original antique color map of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine. From the 1873 edition of the Sanford, Everts and Company "Atlas of Androscoggin County Maine." Measures 26.5 x 16.25. Shipped very loosely rolled to safeguard print and prohibit creasing. Condition: Print is in good condition with edge and corner wear, and some spotting. Please review enlarged image to observe overall condition. Comments: Depicts Wards 4 and 6, as well as a myriad of industries including the Cumberland Woolen Mill, Androscoggin Mills, Little Androscoggin Water Power Company Mills, Continental Mills, and Hill Manufacturing Company. In addition, many of the residential blocks include the names of the home owners.
