Pencil and plate signed limited edition print of Secretariat with jockey, Ron Turcotte as the 1973 Triple Crown champion. The artist, Dale Wesselman was a friend of my late husbands "back in the day" as he liked to say. Dale was a prolific artist and I will be listing some of his other works shortly. Secretariat (03/03/70 - 10/04/89) was a beloved horse with record breaking speeds on the track. Also known a Big Red by those who loved him, his record still stands as of Jan, 2024. This print is from the 99th running of the Triple Crown. There were a total of 750 prints made. I don't know the number for this one as it is hidden by the frame.
