It is quite long, and is made to slip over the head, possibly even twice for a layered look. I am unsure of the age or origins of the necklace. It is made of little clear plastic beads, with .25” faux pearls placed intermittently. The necklace is strung on string, and is a total of about 46” long, or 23” doubled, since the string is tied in a knot closure. It is a very nice vintage beaded necklace, and a pretty, casual piece of costume jewelry.
