From the late 1940s until 1976 Marx Toys produced a series of figure-themed playsets, all in various themes. They often looked to the past for inspiration and many playsets recreate well-known historical events, including the great wars. This listing is for a marbled cream-colored Boxer dog figure that was released in the mid-1950s. It was originally part of the Champion Dogs series, but individual dogs from that set were also included in future playsets. This figure measures approximately 1 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches long. It's in good vintage condition with light play wear.
