Mercedes owners when locking their vehicle experience the door locks jumping up and down.
This can cause issues when locking the vehicle and hamper the owners confidence in the vehicles security system.
A poor quality steel material is used in the manufacture of the springs that hasn't been correctly protected to the elements. Over time minuscule amounts of corrosion on the spring eventually causes it to crack.
