This is an unusual piece in my experience. The metal disk has some darkness in its patina. I did not try to clean it because I always liked it. It is part of the piece's charm. If you don't always want leather, or orange leather, just untie it nad put in something else as the "chain". The leather is about 17 inches with chain at the end that is adjustable to a lobster claw clasp. The adjustable piece is almost 3 inches long. It has been in a smoke free home.
