DESCRIPTION: Brand New in Package **Gas Cans Not Included** -1 Aftermarket MIDWEST YELLOW Gas Spout including New Improved Wide Flange Gasket. Approximately 8-1/2" Tall. These are very High Quality Fuel / Gas / Diesel / Kerosene / Water "SPOUT PARTS KIT". (Kit designed for Midwest Brand Plastic cans only. These do not work with Metal cans or any Chilton / Sears Craftsman jugs). -1 Aftermarket Stopper Cap. Stopper for this kit is used when hiding the spout inside the can for storage or transportation. Insert the stopper into the base of the spout, turn spout upside down and place into can, then screw the collar on tight. (Please note with the newer Midwest cans you may not be able to hide the spout inside the can because of the EPA screen insert). The Gasket on the end of the spout is the seal between the Collar, Stopper and Can, so be sure your Spout Gaskets are in good condition. PLEASE NOTE: Midwest model numbers 5610, 1210 and 2310 have a Flame Shield Safety System and you CANNOT HIDE the spout inside the can, just use the Screw Cap Collar and stopper alone with gasket to seal the can. -1 Aftermarket YELLOW COARSE THREADED Screw Cap Collar (fits Midwest Plastic cans). A Screw Cap Collar retaining ring holds and retains the spout to the can. -1 Yellow Vent Cap with RETAINING LIP to prevent from popping out of your can. Use Air Breather Vents for Fuel, Diesel, Kerosene, Gas, Water or anything that you need a smoother faster flow. Easy to install, drill required. Start with an empty can, Drill 1/2" hole at the back of your plastic can above the fill line, insert vent cap and pop it in gently with a rubber mallet. We suggest you drill a smaller hole to start with and work your way up to the 1/2" drill bit. Be sure to drill a straight clean hole don't swagger side to side with the bit so you won't make a bigger hole than you need. The Vent cap needs to sit in tight to give a good seal.
