The whole canvas measures 39? by 23?
Looks like the person sewing this was going for a completed area of 33? by 17.5?
The background was started in a foam green color, but no wool yarn is included. See all photos. You will have to match the color or replace the background with a different color? You could also increase the size of the bench cover?
