Descripción del Artículo
Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy candid photograph with snipe from the popular 1970's television sitcom, THE NEW DICK VAN DYKE SHOW. It is from Season 3, episode 11, which was entitled Exit Laughing, in which Dick's favorite uncle, the black sheep of the family, drops-in for an unexpected visit and unexpectedly drops dead. Twice. Dick arranges the "fun funeral" his uncle requested. The cast includes Hope Lange, Joan Blondell, Angela Powell, Guy Raymond, and Fran Ryan.
The image depicts an on-set candid shot of cast member Joan Blondell (as Aunt Louise) as she stands next to the episode's director, Norman S. Powell, her real-life son with her former husband, actor Dick Powell, as they stand next to a 35mm camera. Taped to the verso is the original paper snipe caption that describes the image. It is in very fine condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, creases, writing, or other flaws.
