Nice Porcelain Hand Painted Clown Doll, Great Size, Main #383 VERY GOOD COND You are bidding on this vintage Main #383 Hand Made Porcelain Clown Doll. It is in excellent condition, with, with no chips or cracks. The doll is marked Main #383 on the back of the neck, and is made of hand made porcelain. I am unsure of the exact age of the doll. It is a good size, and is about 20.5" from the top of the hat to the tip of the toes, is 10" across the span of the hands, and is about 3" from front to back. It is wearing a very nice clown outfit, and the clothing is also in good condition with no holes or tears, but the elastic around the ankles, wrists, and neck piece are a little stretched out. The hands, fore arms, feet, shins, neck and head are all made of porcelain, and the rest is stuffed, but I am unsure what it is stuffed with. This is a beautiful porcelain clown doll, and would be a wonderful addition to any doll, or clown collection.
