About 5 3/4" tall with the lid on. Very Good condition, no real damage, light wear. Heavy steel casting and then the rims and decorations are applied in brass. Probably 1950's manufacture and you wonder what ex-warships or tramp steamers of WWII might have found their way to being recycled steel for this container. It is heavy duty, very elegant and distinguished in appearance, quality all the way around and it will last half of forever. This is a genuine old one, not any kind of reproduction.
