I am unsure of the age or origins of the crystal, but it is a bit dusty and will need to be cleaned, as well as possibly re-wired. The entire piece is .75” wide and 1” long, and just over .25” front to back. It would make a great replacement piece, and would also be great for crafts, and would catch the light beautifully.
