It came from a console assembly that had never been in a vehicle because the console was an assembly line leftover. It is in excellent condition. It is made of some sort of rubber/plastic blend. See the photos in this ad. They show exactly what you're getting. I'm sure it is a fraction of what GM is asking for the same thing. Please don't buy this $2 item thinking you're getting a complete wireless phone charging system. That's not realistic.
