This is a wonderful vintage Mexican Oaxacan Hand Embroidered Dress in blue and white. No labels or tags, but I am estimating it to be a S / XS. Yoke and short sleeves are embroidered with flowers, foliage, and birds. Hand crocheted edging. Narrow band of smocking under the yoke and "Little People" embroidery. Embroidery around the armholes. Embroidery down the front. Pockets with satin ribbon trim. Satin ribbon trim at hem. Dress is loose fitting, but small across the upper chest and shoulders. Underarm to underarm is 19" (but it's gathered and full.) Length is 44. Sweep at hem is 28" across. In very good condition. There were a couple of tiny tears near the hem that have been neatly repaired. Very slight evidence of wash wear - not bad, just being picky. From a smoke-free home.
