Vintage original 8.5 x 11 in. Shooting Script (Yellow) from the 2000's medical-themed television sitcom, OUT OF PRACTICE, created by Christopher Lloyd and Joe Keenan. It is from Season 1, Episode 12, which was entitled Yours, Mine and His?, in which Benjamin and Lydia's mother-and-son time at the family cottage goes overlong because of snowing. They don't manage to leave before Stewart and Crystal arrive, bringing the newly single Regina, Oliver, and his on-off girlfriend, Trisha, with them. Then comes the revelation: Benjamin had sex with Trisha while she and Oliver were on a break. Benjamin and Trisha decide not to let Oliver know about their one night stand. Then Benjamin and Oliver accidentally find a pregnancy test that belongs to one of the women. But which one? Written by Alex Barnow and Marc Fired, this Shooting Script is dated 12/12/05. It consists of 42 pages on canary stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a pink cardstock front and back cover. This particular script belonged to cast member Paula Marshall, who portrayed "Dr. Regina Barnes." The front cover bears a small white label in the top right corner with her name printed in caps. The name "Paula" was handwritten beneath it along with a name and telephone number. Ms. Marshall had highlighted all of her character's dialogue with a pink highlighter throughout. It is complete in fine+ condition. There are no handwritten notations present within. Provenance: The Henry Winkler Collection. Mr. Winkler portrayed "Dr. Stewart Barnes" on this series. Acquired through auction at Bonhams (TCM Presents...Hollywood Cool). We attended this sale in person and met Mr. Winkler, who attended as well and spoke to the audience several times throughout the session during which items from his personal collection were sold to benefit his daughter's charity. Out of Practice is an American sitcom television series that was produced by Paramount Television and originally broadcast on sister company CBS from September 19, 2005, to March 29, 2006. With producers Joe Keenan and Christopher Lloyd (Frasier's producers) at the helm, the show was about a family of five doctors who had little in common and usually did not get along. CBS officially cancelled it on May 17, 2006, at its upfront presentation. Ben Barnes is the youngest son and central character. As a marriage counselor and the only non-physician, the rest of his family sees him as a lesser doctor. His wife left him in the pilot episode. Ben's father, Stewart Barnes, is a gastroenterologist who is happy to be free from the influence of his ex-wife, Lydia Barnes (Stockard Channing in her third sitcom starring role following Stockard Channing in Just Friends and The Stockard Channing Show), a status-conscious cardiologist and mother of their three children. Ben's brother, Oliver Barnes, is a self-centered plastic surgeon and committed womanizer. Their sister, Regina Barnes, is a lesbian E.R. doctor, who like Oliver, is infatuated with attractive women. She is addicted to the action found inside an ER. Crystal, Stewart's girlfriend and receptionist, is a source of frustration and awkwardness for all except Stewart. Tilly was a late addition to the cast and is not seen much in the pilot.
