This is a set of two cute little chicken and rooster miniature pitchers. Vintage Made in Japan. Probably from the 1950s. Handpainted. The taller is about 2 1/2" tall, and is a rooster pitcher. The shorter is a nice fat hen with gold trim. She looks like a pitcher or creamer (or sugar bowl?) but there is no pour spout/hole. She is about 1 1/2" tall. So cute. Nice for a chicken collection or miniature shadowbox. These were in my mom's things - she was an eclectic collector, and had a way of making interesting displays of her treasures. No damage to either. From a smoke-free home.
