The pattern is in darker blue against a lighter blue and white; I've included a closeup photo so you can get a better look at the design. Fabric is 100% cotton. My son owned this shirt but I'm not sure he ever wore it at all; it is still in like-new condition. My picture really doesn't do it justice, especially since it could use a good ironing (or maybe just a toss in the dryer), but in person it looks much nicer.
