Postcard sent from Paris, France in 1937 durinig the Paris World's Fair Sent to: Mrs. Willard Hawley, Jr of Portland Heights, Oregon shows Place de la Concorde from "Hazel" who writes, "Fair lovely unfinished. Traffic fierce" Mr Mrs. Willard P. Hawley, Jr had quite an interesting history !! -- born in 1890, Willard built a pulp paper mill in 1926 -- had first licensed radio broadcasting station in Oregon -- made first trip by automobile to Mexico City -- pioneered 3 different routes to Mexico City for Southern California Automobile Club -- etc. See the attached scans !! NO RESERVE NOTE: Carefully see scans of both front and back.
