If one or both antibodies are detected, a colored line specific for that antibody appears on the test membrane. It is recommended that this test be performed and interpreted under the supervision of a healthcare professional, but this should not limit the user’s ability to perform the test independently if necessary. It is recommended that the test be performed no earlier than 2 weeks after the tick bite. Composition Test cassette, lancets, droppers, buffer, alcohol wipes, instructions for use. Dosage Remove the test cassette from the sealed foil pouch and place it on a flat surface. 2. Wipe your finger with a sterile swab and prick your finger with the lancet to collect blood. Do not use the first drop of blood! 3. Prepare a pipette and collect 5 microliters of plasma/serum or 10 microliters of whole blood sample (see instructions for use). 4. Place the collected blood sample in the cartridge well (S). 5. Add 3 drops of assay buffer (B) to the well. 6. Read the result after 10 minutes. Read the results using the leaflet. Handle all used kit components according to local requirements. If possible, pack biohazardous waste in bags.
