Compiled and edited by Janica York, the book has 144 pages, a collection of the best crochet patterns published by Red Heart in the preceding 60 years. "Whether you're learning to crochet or you have years of experience, these projects will make the most of your talents. The full-color diagrams and the complete general crochet directions will teach basic stitches to beginners and will provide specialty stitch information to more experienced crocheters." "You'll find over six decades of traditional favorites: delicate threadwork from the thirties, pineapple motifs from the forties, classic blankets from the fifties, bold designs from the sixties and the seventies, and floral motifs from the eighties. Stitched in the exciting new colors of the nineties, the projects are contemporary versions of the original classics." There's a whole section on Christmas projects, too, with really great stuff from ornaments to blankets, hats, scarves and even a tree skirt. Book is in overall good used condition. I noticed several pages with folded corners, and there's a crease across the corner of the back cover as well (like it had been folded). Other than that there's just some very light wear, nothing noteworthy. The pages are all intact and clean, the color photos look great, the binding is good and there's no writing or marks in it.
