Richard Harris (October 1,1930 - October 25, 2002) autographed vintage 1950s album page 4 1/2" x 6" hand signed in blue ink and inscribed Jack Thank you Richard Harris. One of the nicest legible signatures we have seen from him a fantatstic example. Richard Harris was an Irish actor and singer. He appeared on stage and in many films, notably as Frank Machin in This Sporting Life, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor, and as King Arthur in the 1967 film Camelot, as well as the 1981 revival of the stage musical. Further fortune came his way with a strong performance in the blockbuster Gladiator (2000) and he became known to an entirely new generation of film fans as Albus Dumbledore in the mega-successful Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).
