What Rivanol Himax Pharma is and what it is used for The active substance Ethacridine lactate belongs to the group of acridine dyes. Rivanol Himax Pharma is administered as: Antiseptic agent for external treatment of superficial cuts and operative wounds, skin ulcers, pyoderma, secondarily infected dermatoses, burns. 2. What you need to know before using Rivanol Himax Pharma Do not use Rivanol Himax Pharma when: Contact allergies to ethacridine lactate. Take special care with Rivanol Himax Pharma Do not take internally! Keep your eyes out! Do not use after the expiry date! Taking other medicines Interactions with other medicines are unknown. Pregnancy and breastfeeding Do not use in pregnancy and lactation. Not recommended due to possible allergic reactions. Driving and using machines Rivanol Himax Pharma has no influence on the driving and use of machines. 3. How to use Rivanol Himax Pharma Apply externally by applying a suitable swab. If you use more Rivanol Himax Pharma than you should Due to the low concentration and the way of use, overdose is not practical. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist. 4. Possible side effects Contact dermatitis, photosensitization, rarely - facial edema, hives, headache. If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist. 5. How to store Rivanol Himax Pharma Store in the original package, protected from light and out of the reach of children, at temperatures up to 25 C. Shelf life - 12 months. Shelf life after first opening the package - 1 (one) month. Do not use after the expiry date! Do not use Rivanol Himax Pharma if you notice any change in the appearance of the solution. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment. 6. The other ingredients are Purified Water and Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate E218. This product is original , produced for the Bulgarian market .
