This wonderful little Dancing Ballerina Brooch is made of gold tone metal, and measures 1 7/8" long x 1OE" across the widest part. She comes mounted on the original card which reads: LATEST DESIGN. The card has staining, but the Ballerina Brooch's golden colored surface is in excellent condition. There are only a few marks on the silver colored wire pin that hooks into the golden C-clasp on the back. Marked on the back of the brooch is: HONG KONG. This vintage brooch was most probably sold at a Five-and-dime store, such as Woolworth's, during the 1940's to 1950's. A wonderful piece of nostalgia about the past!
