Sauna Wood Oil is a non-toxic penetrating oil that is infused with a special blend of 6 aromatic oils. This product is for us on all of the interior wood surfaces of your sauna. Sauna Wood Oil has been developed and tested over a period of 20 years and has been found to be safe and very effective when used as directed. The main ingredient of this product is highly refined, clear petroleum based oil that meets requirements set forth in 21 CFR 172.878 and 178.3620(a) of the U.S. FDA regulatory code for direct and indirect food contact. This highly-refined oil also exceeds the standards of the National Formulary 19 (NF) of the U.S. Pharmacopeia 24 (USP). Sauna Wood Oil has been stabilized with di-alpha-tocopheral (vitamin E) to prevent oxidation breakdown of the product. The base oil of this product is produced under the supervision of the Kashruth Division of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America and is thereby Kosher. Regular use of this product will enhance your sauna experience as well as extend the life of your sauna. WARNING: This product is for use only on the wood components of a sauna (i.e. interior walls, ceiling, benches and wood flooring). It is not recommended that you run your sauna higher than 200 F (93 C). The flashpoint of this product is 385 F (196 C).
