Be sure to add me to your favorites list Skylab Space Station 2 3/4" Inch Rare Mini Plastic Model, NASA Space Explorers, Still in New Condition, Just Out of it's Package. This is a new condition, just loose out of it's package, small scale model of the one and only U.S. Skylab Space Station. Part of the NASA Space Explorers series, and made in the late 1990's, this is not easy to find anymore. This one is in as-new, just out of it's original packaging, never played with, only stored away. It's made of hard plastic, and all of the solar panels rotate completely. It's 2 and 3/4 inches long including the windmill type panels, and looks just like the real thing (with one exception in that one of the solar panels along the body of the actual Skylab station never deployed as was planned, causing the spacecraft to super-heat, until a makeshift fix was done). Skylab hosted 3 Apollo crews before burning up in the Earth's atmosphere. This is a neat little example of Skylab, a cool, collectible model of a one of a kind spacecraft! Thanks for looking!
