The 25% speed reduction set of gears for Atlas 618. The gear combo that allows you to slow down the feed
from the slowest that Atlas has in their documentation. It takes it down
from .0024? to .0018? per revolution. This is a 25% reduction, and
makes a huge difference in how my lathe cuts. Great surface finish! The gear set is as follows: Position A, 20B, 56F Position C, 64B, 20F Lead screw, 64
The only issue I had was with the lead screw 64T gear, I would
offer these gears, plus the spindle, tumbler, and compound gears as a
set to get a quiet, slow feed.
