Steiff Vintage Nagy Beaver Circa: 1958 to 1978 4 Inch Model Steiff produced Nagy Beaver in 3 sizes between 1958 and 1978. This is the smallest of the three which is 4 inches tall; his EAN is 2120/10. He still has the original tag attached with a little button to his left ear. Nagy is covered in 2 types of mohair: 1) Mohair Plush and 2) Spiky Mohair His little peach color felt mouth is open and you can see his one protruding tooth. His ears, hands, feet and tail are also made of felt as is his wide striped tail. Nagy is hard stuffed with excelsior and he stands very nicely on his own. Overall, I would describe his condition as very good. He's a bit elderly as you would expect for at least a 40 year old (maybe more) beaver, but he has no signs of tears or damage. Nagy would be a great addition to any Steiff collection. Buy him today while we still have him.
