Yes it is clearly an ashtray but comes with factory mounted hanger to go on the wall like a plate. About 7" in diameter. Made to look like antiqued copper but I expect it is some common metal that was plated and then given the faux antique finish, which is no great chore for a factory. Popular wildlife around the edges. Nice lightly used condition and I am sure no cigarettes were smudged out on it. There is what looks like just a hint of light wear to a couple of the higher relief spots, and probably not even wear just made that way. Striking and eye catching souvenir, and of course considering the subject you could expect no less.
