Descripción del Artículo

Morris J. Kallem, 1889-1953, was a Jewish portraitist and landscape painter. This colorful watercolor displays the palette and emotional strength of the American Regionalist Movement of the 1930s, though Kallem lived in Pennsylvania and New York, somewhat distant from the Midwest, where the likes of John Stuart Curry, Grant Wood, and Thomas Hart Benton held sway. I have enjoyed this beauty for over thirty years. Time to pass it on to the next lucky owner. 14" x 20" (sight) under glass in a 30" x 35" frame. FREE SHIPPING!
