Fantastic collection of hits from the Beatles' movies has just been made better with the addition of three bonus tracks in this fan-made disc. Drawing from the Fabs five major movies (A Hard Day's Night from 1964, Help! from 1965, Magical Mystery Tour from 1967, Yellow Submarine from 1968 and Let It Be from 1970), this set has been appended with three single-only tracks from this project. The first, the imaginatively titled 'The Beatles' Movie Medley', was a top-20 single for the group in 1982. Capitalizing on the success of the previous year's 'Stars On 45' medley, this track features a medley of seven Beatles songs (Magical Mystery Tour/All You Need Is Love/You've Got To Hide Your Love Away/ I Should Have Known Better/A Hard Day's Night/Ticket To Ride/Get Back), edited together by Ron Furmanek. This unique track has not appeared on an official CD to date, but sounds perfect on this disc. Two different non-LP B-sides were prepared for this single, and both appear on this disc. 'I'm Happy Just To Dance With You' was the B-side to the commercial version of the 45, while the promotional 7" + 12" singles saw yet another unique track - 'Fab Four On Film', an over six-minute edit of an open-ended interview recorded with Paul, George and Ringo on July 11, 1964 to promote the film A Hard Day's Night. In addition to the bonus tracks, this album featured a unique edit of 'I Should Have Known Better', which repaired the gap in the harmonica intro. All in all, a rather unique compilation and one that is unlikely to ever see official release on CD. This set fixes that and has been lovingly put together from top quality sources throughout and sounds amazing. Likewise, the packaging has been put together with care to include the graphics from the inner sleeve along with the original LP label, which appears on the CD.
