This little cook book for the South Bend Malleable Range is from the early 1900s (I think 1907), printed to go with the wood or coal burning stoves made in South Bend, Indiana. My grandmother, from Indiana, had one of these stoves and cooked on it until she passed away in 2010. The booklet has 64 pages and measures 4" X 5.5". There is wear and tear to the front and back covers, as you can see, but they are intact so are all of the pages. The tear you can see to the right side of the page in my photo is the only one like that; otherwise they just have tiny little nicks and some small folds along the edges, and some pages do have spots on them. The back cover has the most severe folds, as you can see, but I didn't try to flatten them out because I was afraid I would do more damage. Overall it is a bit fragile and does have small amounts of damage, but I'd say it's holding up pretty well for being about 115 years old. Not too many of these around anymore! Asking $12.00 obo.
