This classy Schmidt cookie tin resembles a treasure chest with its domed lid. Opens into two pieces. Beautiful colors, gold filigree and some shiny reflective gold areas, too. Arthur Dürer (1471-1528) was an artist and known for his woodcut prints during the German Renaissance. His self portrait is featured in the center. Clean inside. Minor spots with color loss and a few minor dings. Bottom shows some wear but embossed manufacturing information is readable. Schmidt is Germany's leading biscuit brand since 1926.
