Their primary use is for anchoring in hollow surfaces, such as drywall (Light purpose fastening) and drywall with hollow, metal studs (For hanging very heavy items on wallboard over hollow metal studs), concrete blocks, and other hollow masonry fastening needs. Toggler fasteners are adjustable for various base material thicknesses and they remain mounted in the wall even without a screw for convenient handling and re-use. They are a must-have when safely securing very heavy items to hollow studs or masonry. They are also great for fastening items, such as seat pedestal bases and stanchions to boat decks. They are extremely fast and easy to install and require only a oe” hole. They can be used for any surface thickness, from 3/16” to 2 oe”. They stay in place without a bolt and will not spin during installation. The metal to metal installation insures maximum strength for your fastening project.
