Ceramic coffee mug of best quality although no maker marking. About 3 1/2" tall, nice condition with no damage. Eye-catching and kind of cool in an ominous way. I can picture it in an overblown mystery or spy parody. "Did you hear about General Rocheforte?" Terrrrrrrilble accident. Found him poisoned". And then they serve coffee in this mug. Age is uncertain, if I had to put down a dollar in a pool by decade I would take eighties but I can't say for sure. I didn't see another just like it offered anywhere.
