This Post Versalog copyright 1951 is made of Bamboo. It is my understanding that bamboo doesn't warp and most slide rules are made of bamboo. It is catalog No. 1450. It has a leather case that is a reddish brown color and in very good condition. Most of the information provided is on the edge (side) of the slide rule. The rule is 12 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide at the slide. It was made in Japan. It has been in a smoke free environment. The slide rule is in excellent condition. The case was manufactured for the slide rule. it says Post and Versalog on it. It has a place for an ID under the flap. Place on back to hook to belt, or hook a clip.
