Very Rare Vintage Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Lace Table Lighter #1230 The green underglaze back stamp with a bar underneath the last "N" in Copenhagen dates this piece to 1980-1984 production period. This porcelain lighter measures about 3 7/8" tall to the top of the chrome cap. It is decorated in a classic blue and white lacy design with a scalloped border along the bottom edge. Harder to see is the attractive raised fluted texture, adding to the pattern's name. The bottom is marked by hand in blue with the painter's initials, and the three wavy blue lines. It has a plastic reservoir inside ( German manufacturer Rowenta) to hold the lighter fluid. The piece has a very nice heft when held in the hand. It is first quality and in excellent factory original condition, with a smoothly working lighting mechanism. I will empty the lighter of its butane before shipping.
