This truly lovely antique mourning brooch features sterling silver floral designs with seed pearls over a black background. The black appears to be metal enamel. The ornate gold mount is heavily gold plated or filled. On the reverse side, reddish light brown hair is secure under glass. C clasp and tube hinge work perfectly. The piece measures 1 3/8" x 1 5/8."
