Authentic vintage Boy Scouts of America No. 574 Yucca Pack made by Diamond Brand of Asheville, NC. Constructed of heavy 100% cotton canvas with leather strap closures and solid brass hardware. Features the official BSA National Council emblem on the flap and the original leather ID panel inside stamped ?No. 574 Yucca Pack.?
This model was produced in the late 1940s?1950s and was a favorite field rucksack for Scouts and outdoor adventurers alike.
Condition: Very good vintage condition; canvas shows light wear and patina consistent with age. All straps and buckles present and functional.
Approx. size: 15 13 6 in.
A great collectible piece of early BSA history and durable enough for display or light use.
