In 1965, he made the first Frankoma Christmas collector plate. Each year a new Christmas plate was created. Upon his death in 1973, his daughter continued the tradition. Long history which finally changed when the factory was sold in 2012. As of approximately 2020, pottery continues to be made there but with a focus on art ware. This piece is free fro cracks and chips. A small amount of crazing on the back. It features the Baby Jesus in raised relief and is signed on the back by John Frank dated 1970.
