Avon began in 1886 as the California Perfume Company, and changed its name to Avon in 1939. Avon offers some of the most popular and best-selling collectibles. This is the 'Dove in Flight Candlette Candle Holder'. A votive candle holder in the shape of a dove spreading its wings taking flight. It's made of heavy, clear lead crystal, is 2-7/8" tall and measures 3"x 4-1/2". The holder opening is 2" in diameter x 2-3/8" deep. Made in 1977, probably by the Fostoria Glass Company. Perfect for holiday decor with a brightly colored candle. In mint condition-no chips, scratches or discoloration.
