From a local estate clothing collection, this is a vintage peasant style skirt, c. 1940's-50s. It is handmade, machine sewn and fits a small waist size. The yellow fabric has a small floral print, reminiscent of feedback style fabric, though with this much yardage, it very likely is not actual feedsack. The skirt has 9 layers of ruffles. The waist measures approx 11 inches across, and the length is approx 27 inches. It has a metal zipper back closure and two yellow buttons at the top. This is a lovely one of a kind true vintage ruffled bohemian/romantic/eclectic/distressed style item. It does have a few flaws - there is a small tear on the back waistline near the button closure. A couple of the ruffles need a few stitches taken, and there are some small brownish marks that you can find if you look closely. It is a beautiful old item and can be used just as it is, if you love this type style. Buyer to pay shipping. I will package carefully in a box and ship promptly.
