Vintage 40s Red Coat from Harold Minneapolis - Color is a lovely shade of strawberry/vermillion/persian red - not an intense red No fabric or size tag. Please see measurements to ensure proper fit - model is 58" XS (coat was loose on this size) for comparison: Measures approx 22" across underarm to underarm with material spread out. Waist: 23" across. Bottom hem measures 33" across. Sleeve approx 24" from shoulder. Shoulders 15". Length 38". The material is average thickness - not heavy winter material. Soft, could it be boiled wool? Not at all itchy, doesnt make me sneeze like some wools. Single clear button, I put this vintage button on as the coat lacked one. Flaw: tear on material behind button. darkened cuff on one sleeve. Some spots that may or may not come out with dry cleaning - see closeup photos where I zoom in on these.
