This is a dream of a vintage 60's / 70's maxi dress. So totally adorable! Les Elles by Betty Carol, a boutique brand of the era. Size not marked, but it is XS. Fits my size 2 dress form. The fabric is a silky slinky knit - I believe it is nylon. This was a popular fabric in that era. Black background tiwh wonderful floral print in pink, red, yellow, green, white. The print is in broad wallpaper stripes. The print is used to great effect in the design, with placed stripes in a border-like effect. Slightly squared scoop neck. Fitted high waisted bodice with wide inset and covered buttons / loops. Long sleeves with peekaboo feature - slit down the arm with connecting fabric tabs. Single button narrow cuffs. Gathered skirt. Bodice is lined. Skirt is unlined. In excellent vintage condition with one fairly minor issue - the black has shifted to a slightly brownish hue in areas - very common with this particular fabric. I personally don't think it detracts - your eye naturally evens out the color. Otherwise, wonderful! No other damage. From a smoke-free home.
